BEFORE YOU VISIT T.A.B.C.A.T. STUDENTS (Playing Capoeira, 2007) We're glad you're interested in learning something about this secretive dance-game-martial art from Bahia, Brazil. Please take a moment to read this page before visiting with us for the first time. Our schedule and location page will tell you when and where we train. Our easy guidelines on uniforms will tell you what to wear at your first class. Your first class is only $5. To continue training with us, learn about our dues-paying plans and general membership policies. Questions about what to expect in our classes, including more details on training and class structure, are answered in our F.A.Q. (Frequently Asked Questions) section. We welcome ALL STUDENTS and ALL LEVELS. Every class is taught to all levels simultaneously in a non-competitive atmosphere. OSU studentS: check here to see if Capoeira is being offered this quarter through Ohio State's Department of Dance. NOTE: If you have trained (or continue to train) in Capoeira or other related forms such as breaking, martial arts, or gymnastics, just let the instructor know your level of experience before your first class.
