UNIFORM GUIDELINES
General guideline for new students:

SHOES
Comfortable, non-grip, non-marking, flat heeled shoes. Examples: Tennis shoes, slip-ons, martial arts shoes, or dance shoes.

No bare feet please.
SHIRT
Plain white t-shirt with no logo. The shirt should be long enough to tuck into the pants.

No tank tops please.
PANTS
Plain athletic, dress, or scrub pants, preferably black or dark navy. These should not be too long or oversized.

No shorts or jeans please.
GROOMING, HYGIENE, ETC
Nails should be trimmed, long hair pulled back, and jewelry put away. Chewing gum (or eating of any kind) is not permitted during training. Personal hygiene is to be respected.

A small towel and water bottle are also useful items to have on hand.


UNIFORM POLICIES
Students representing other capoeira organizations should wear their appropriate uniform. (Shoes still required.)

Students who join T.A.B.C.A.T Columbus will be asked to start wearing the official uniform (if available) by the end of their first month of training.

The official T.A.B.C.A.T. uniform consists of:
